Sunshine, flowers and zombies

There was beautiful sunshine at Salamanca yesterday, which was perfect for flower making and watching a parade of zombies.

I've been paper piecing flowers while people and zombie watching at markets over the last couple of years.  Ultimately the flowers are destined to be part of a large quilt which I think I'll name Salamanca Days.
