At last count I have five working sewing machines, and a few that have seen better days....this one is one of my favourites and sits in the garden!

Art for grown ups
These art wraps have been selling as fast as I can make them.
They have been popular with artists young and old....they hold pencils and an art diary and are perfectly portable!
I have made seven this week, in various designs.
If you feel like dropping by for a visit, we are back at Salamanca Market before we head off to warmer climes!

Don't talk to me Chucky...
It has been a while since I've shared an op shop find here. I thought these puppets fairly innocuous until I took them to the counter and tried to pay for them. Their purchase prompted a good deal of discussion and I received some interesting advice.
Chucky was on the top of suggested names. Evil looking, freaky and scary were other names to describe them. When the conversation turned to the possibility that they might start talking to me while wielding a kitchen knife, I thought this is getting out of hand.
Have to say, one of the weirder conversations I've had in an op shop.
In the cold light of day, all this seemed ridiculous and implausible, but in the middle of the night, when I fumble for the light switch, I have to admit these possibilities have crossed my mind!

Market days
Salamanca Market in the autumn/winter certainly takes on an atmospheric feel.
The less hectic pace gives us a chance to catch falling autumn leaves.....
and catch up on flower making.
We are back next Saturday just down near the Court Steps and hoping for another spectacular sunrise.

What rhymes with crayon?
hmmm, nothing that I can think of! Maybe Dr Seuss could help.
In the mean time, I have been busy finishing off crayon wallets.
